Damn Fine Coffee

Damn Fine Coffee

Logan square

As pictured, Damn fine coffee has a cool vibe about it, but the best part of this chill scene is the cozy work atmosphere. the majority of the patrons in the shop were nose deep in a project or passion OTHErwise, but how inviting the entire space was, is what really resonated with us.

The Lounge - The robey hotel

Wicker Park

first of all, we love the robey. FROm the cafe downstairs, to their event hall next door. this place has everything under (or on top) of one room. The lounge can be found on the second floor completed with full bar and wifi. the majority of seating options aren’t traditional coffee shop tables, but retro lounge furniture waiting for you to sink into for the next 5 hours.

Floriole

Lincoln Park

Floriole has to be hands down one of the cutest cafe/coffee shops in the neighborhood. Their serving ESTHETICS keep in line with the delicate french cafe feel and their upstairs space is perfect for working. Large, natural lighting, open and you guessed it…cozy! Highly recommend getting thier london fog lattes, a housemade quiche and a cute parfait to enjoy during your stay.

Sip

river west

right off of grand just on the other side of the river from river north, this cute cafe on a busy street is an overlooked gem if you’re speeding right past. from their vast display of pastries and sandwiches to their outdoor patio with sofa lounges, this place hits all the senses. stay awhile and get some work done or grab friends to enjoy the fresh air out back with a bite to eat!

dollop

river north

Dollop is actually a Chicago “chain” that has a ton of locations around the city. I’ve been to a few and one of my favorite is the river north location. It’s in the heart of the city, but gives the tucked away haven vibe from the hustle and bustle. I actually stopped in on a friday evening before going to dinner with friends and was nice to regroup in such a bright and clean environment IN their lounge section (just right of the barista counter). such a great space to kill time and get lost in deep convos.
